DEFINITION

Classification: 273/377

Spaced conductors bridged by nonpenetrating projectile:

(under subclass 371) Target device wherein the surface portion adapted to be struck by a projectile includes a plurality of spaced-apart, electrically conductive means which form part of the electrical circuit of the indicator means and which are contactable by a projectile which strikes but does not pass through or penetrate into the surface portion of the target device, and wherein the electrical circuit of the indicator means is actuated by an electrically conductive projectile having a size and configuration sufficient to span the distance between at least two adjacent conductive means such that the projectile forms part of the indicator circuit as it spans the two adjacent conductive means upon striking or remaining upon the surface portion of the target device.
