DEFINITION

Classification: 528/81

(under subclass 80) Subject matter wherein the reactant contains at least three -XH groups.

(1) Note. In all cases the -XH groups must be bonded to a carbon atom. A compound having a carbon atom which is bonded to three or more -XH groups would meet the requirements of this subclass. The carbon atom bonded to the -XH group cannot be double bonded to a chalcogen atom.
