(under subclass 149) Subject matter including means to sense a condition or change of condition with respect to either the carcass being subdivided or to the apparatus used to subdivide the carcass, which and as a result of this sensing (and without external manual intervention) brings about an alteration in the operation or control of the device.
(1) Note. The alteration may include stopping or starting of all or part of the mechanism so as to correct, avoid damage from or mitigate the effects of the sensed condition.
