a sectional configuration which includes points or lines, which points or lines are formed by the angular intersection (usually at 90 deg. or less) of regions of the surface or the member (e.g., a chisel edge, cone, corner, parallel-walled channel, rectangular tooth, ridge, V-groove, etc.).
