DEFINITION

Classification: 359/9

For synthetically generating a hologram:

(under subclass 1) Subject matter including means for providing a hologram of a single object by other than a single exposure to the interference pattern of light from the object as a whole and a reference beam.

(1) Note. Holos:graphic stereograms are considered recordings of different images and are excluded from this subclass.

(2) Note. Holos:graphic memories are excluded in which an object beam is scanned so as to act as a page composer when each bit is intended to be separately detected.
