DEFINITION

Classification: 244/197

(under subclass 196) System which has means permitting a human pilot to disengage the auto pilot and put into operation a system controlled by the human pilot for an indeterminate time period.

(1) Note. In this subclass the human pilot selects a mode of operation wherein either manual control or auto pilot control is connected and used, and the unused control is disconnected
