(under subclass 162) Methods and means wherein material to be separated is delivered to or mixed with a liquid or mixture of liquids having a specific gravity greater than that of some constituents and less than that of other constituents, the constituents of lesser specific gravity than the liquid floating thereon, while those of greater specific gravity sink or remain suspended in the liquid.
