By preventing unauthorized or unintended access or use:

(under subclass 271) Vehicle wherein the means has as its purpose the prevention of use of the vehicle or access to it by a person or persons, or for a purpose or purposes, not reasonably contemplated.

(1) Note. Neither a mere keyed lock for a vehicle closure member nor a keyed ignition switch constitute subject matter for this subclass.
