(under subclass 406.59) Subject matter wherein the regulating means for varying spark ignition timing includes both (a) an electrical conductor which opposes the passage of electrical current and (b) a component for accumulating and holding a charge of electricity, the component consisting of two equally charged conducting surfaces having opposite polarity signs, the surfaces being separated by a dielectric (e.g., condenser) and wherein the ignition timing is determined by a measured charge or discharge interval of the component for accumulating and holding a charge.
