(under subclass 78) Device having active means to propel the product or passive means in the form of a guide* to define, limit or change (without terminating) the path of moving product; or means which allows or facilitates motion of unsupported product; or means, other than the cutter or work-feed means, to cause relative motion between the product and a member of the cutting pair.
