Metal part coaxial with and inside of glass part:

(under subclass 59.1) Processes in which the glass and metal parts are both relatively elongated, the glass part being outside of the metal part and the two being arranged to be coaxial.

(1) Note. Such a process may produce, e.g., a metal rod inside of a closely fitting glass tube, to which it is fusion bonded.
