(under subclass 467) Apparatus having (1) a pump, motor, and gas separating means arranged one above the other, in any order, within an upstanding casing in its normal operative position, or (2) a plurality of chambers having a confined flow path therebetween, and in which at least one material flow effecting means and the gas separating means are in different chambers.
(1) Note. This is the locus for apparatus of the vertical type in which stability, compactness, maneuverability, access to the filter compartment, etc., is of importance.
