DEFINITION

Classification: 55/400

(under the class definition) Apparatus wherein the separator includes a continuously moving unitary member, other than a mere impeller, so arranged relative to associated structure, or itself so designed, as to perform a separating function.

(1) Note. To be classified under this definition a nonfilter member must stratify, deflect, or otherwise initiate separation of the system fluid constituents by reason of the member's motion relative thereto.
