DEFINITION

Classification: 528/65

(under subclass 59) Subject matter wherein a material containing at least one -N=C=X (X is chalcogen) group and two

or more groups is reacted with a compound which has two -XH groups.

(1) Note. In all cases the -XH functional group must be directly bonded to a carbon atom. A single carbon atom may be bonded to more than one -XH group and such a compound would meet the requirements of this subclass.

(2) Note. The carbon atom bonded to the -XH group cannot be double to a chalcogen atom.
