DEFINITION

Classification: 508/364

With organic nitrogen, phosphorus, or chalcogen compound:

(under subclass 363) Compositions which contain, in addition to the nitrogen-heavy metal or nitrogen-aluminum compound, an organic phosphorus compound, an organic nitrogen compound, or an organic chalcogen (i.e., oxygen, sulfur, selenium, or tellurium) compound.

(1) Note. An organic phosphorus compound is one wherein phosphorus is attached directly or indirectly by nonionic bonding to carbon of an organic compound. Organic nitrogen compound and organic chalcogen compound are similarly defined.

(2) Note. See Notes to the Class Definition for the definition of an organic compound.
