DEFINITION

Classification: 505/482

Treating with high pressure oxygen:

(under subclass 300) Process wherein oxygen or an oxygen enriched gas is utilized under higher than atmospheric pressure, usually during conversion of superconductor precursor to the superconducting state.

(1) Note. Complete oxidation of a material forming a new composition is not considered a coating process. If oxidation occurs simultaneously with deposition of a material upon a substrate, this is viewed as a coating operation.
