DEFINITION
Classification: 473/573
Having bristled, hooked, or looped surface for adherence to complementarily surfaced means (e.g., Velcro material, etc.):
(under subclass 569) Subject matter wherein at least a portion of the surface of the projectile is made from, or the projectile has attached thereto, a material comprising a very large number of closely spaced projecting bristles, hooks, or loops and wherein the material is intended to interlock with complementary projecting bristles, loops, or hooks disposed upon at least a portion of the surface of an object so as to cause the projectile or a portion thereof to adhere to the object.
(1) Note. The expression "interlock with" is intended to include (due to the structural similarity of closely spaced bristles and closely spaced hooks or loops) the adherence of a projectile having projecting bristles which is intended to be engaged with, and thereby adhered to, an object also having projecting bristles even though the adherence of the projectile to the object is primarily due to frictional forces between the respective sets of bristles.
