DEFINITION

And engaging the inwardly facing surface of the bolt heads or nuts:

(under subclass 90) Device wherein the member includes, on its surface which is opposite to its substructure-facing surface, regions which engage against rotation, in at least one direction, the inwardly facing surfaces of two or more bolt heads or nuts.

(1) Note. The engagement for restricting rotation may involve only frictional contact.

(2) Note. The member may include a bendable portion (e.g., a tab) for deformation into engagement with a side of a bolt head or a nut subsequent to assembly of the bolt or nut with the member and the substructure.
