Double pole multiple throw:

(under subclass 20) Subject matter wherein the optical switch operates to selectively couple light between a pair of input waveguides and any one of their respective plurality of output waveguides.

(1) Note. Switching of both input waveguides takes place simultaneously.

(2) Note. The number of output waveguides associated with each input waveguide is the same.
