With transmission of bearing or position determinative signals:

(under subclass 385) Subject matter including one or more radiating stations whose radiated energy when received, allows a determination of the location of the receiving station in one or more lines or planes having known fixed locations relative to the radiating stations.

(1) Note. Frequently two or more bearing determinations are used to fix the position of the receiving station by intersection of bearing lines or planes.
