(under subclass 76.39) Subject matter having a mechanical resonating system and an electromechanical transducer to drive the mechanical resonating system in accordance with the electric voltage or current.

(1) Note. The mechanical resonator is usually a reed and its vibration can be visually observed, but it may be a quartz crystal whose motion is not visible or some other resonator.
