(under subclass 217) Subject matter wherein the tested rail has ends and is joined to other rails by connectors forming joints between the rails, and includes means to prevent the sensing and indicating of the magnetic field of the joints by the apparatus to sense and indicate the sensing of the magnetic field of the rail.
