.~ Magnetic recording medium on magnetized object records object field
DEFINITION
Classification: 324/213
Magnetic recording medium on magnetized object records object field:
(under subclass 200) Subject matter wherein the apparatus to sense and indicate the sensing of a magnetic field includes a magnetic recording medium applied to magnetized material so that any stray or leakage field from the magnetized material induces a magnetic field in the recording medium which is indicative of flaws in the material tested.
(1) Note. The magnetic field of the recording medium is latent and requires, for example, magnetic particles to form a visible image of the induced field on the recording medium.
