DEFINITION

Classification: 324/207.11

Displacement:

(under subclass 200) Subject matter which includes a device to note the change in position of one member with respect to another member, the device having means to create a magnetic field and having either (1) the means supported by one of the members, or (2) the members included in a magnetic circuit in the magnetic field, the apparatus to sense and indicate the sensing of the magnetic field being responsive to the change in the magnetic field to note the movement of one of the members with respect to the other member.
