(under subclass 76) Subject matter which is responsive to a transient or which is used to determine some characteristic of a transient or some characteristic of a portion of a wave form of a cyclic wave.
(1) Note. This subclass includes, for example, the determination of the complete wave form of a transient, such as results when a short circuit occurs on a transmission line.
