(under subclass 3) Subject matter in which two or more electric motors are employed to drive a particular load device and in which one or more of the motors (1) are substantially different, structurally, or (2) are controlled or operated differently with respect to time, load, speed, etc., from one or more other of the motors.
(1) Note. This subclass includes subject matter within the class definition where plural diverse or diversely controlled electric motors drive differential gearing.
