619
.~.~ Variable gain bandwidth
DEFINITION
Classification: 318/619
(under subclass 611) Subject matter in which the stabilizing means is a means for changing the gain of the servo loop of its bandwidth. The bandwidth is the upper and lower limit of frequencies to which the servo will respond.
(1) Note. For example, the variable gain element in the loop may be used to make the loop less sensitive to large
error signals with means to increase the gain as balance is achieved.
(2) Note. For example, the bandwidth may be made variable so the loop is made more or less sensitive to certain frequency components which are present in the command signal.
