Stretching by applying tension:

(under subclass 280) Process in which the reshaping is performed by pulling an end or edge of the workpiece and the workpiece is elongated in the direction of the tension application.

(1) Note. Tension applied merely to hold the work extended or taut is not considered to be within the scope of this subclass.
