With radiation filter, modifier, or shield, (e.g., dosimeter badges):

(under subclass 475.2) Subject matter which includes radiation filter means cooperating with the contained film or pack to moderate, shield or filter some or all of the radiation before the radiation exposes the film.

(1) Note. Filters can modify visible light where a luminescent screen is included as part of a film pack or with a cassette or holder.

(2) Note. Herein are dosimeters, including the badge type, wherein the intensity or frequency of radiation is modified before being incident upon photos:graphic material.
