(under subclass 484.6) Subject matter in which the rotational speed of the take-up is changed in a preset manner or the supply of power is controlled in response to operating conditions to maintain the rotational speed of the take-up within a desired range at some point during operation.
(1) Note. The change of the rotational speed of the take-up may take place during the winding of a single package on a take-up, from one package to the next, or in any other controlled manner.
