(under subclass 481.8) Subject matter in which the rotating member includes two coaxial cylindrical members that rotate as a unit and have mutually facing ends having surfaces that (1) deviate from a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation, (2) are complementary in shape, and (3) are spaced along the rotational axis so as to form a passage between the cylindrical members through which the material passes as it travels from a supply to the take-up, the surfaces of the ends of the cylindrical members guiding the material in the axial direction of the take-up.
