DEFINITION

Classification: 241/289

(under subclass 287) Apparatus in which the normally stationary member is mounted to yield about the pivotal connection as an axis upon the application of an abnormal force.

(1) Note. The mounting must be such as will return the comminuting element to its original position upon cessation of the abnormal force.
