Acrylic:

(under subclass 732) Process wherein the organic compound contains recurring units formed by the addition reaction of acrylic acid, alpha-substituted acrylic acid or functional derivatives of such acids.

(1) Note. The functional derivatives include the salts, esters, nitriles, amides, acyl halides, and anhydrides of the acids. The compound may include units of other monomers such as, e.g., stryrene or butadiene.
