(1) Note. Ordinarily the sifter must be included as an element of the combination to locate a device in this subclass. Otherwise the device is classifiable in Class 74, Machine Element or Mechanism, appropriate mechanical movement subclasses, when the novelty lies in the actuating means, per se, while if it involves the combination of the actuating means broadly with a receptacle without limitation to a sifter it may go to appropriate subclasses of Class 366, Agitating.
