(under subclass 400) Subject matter in which the process includes a step of testing or measuring any parameter involved in the procedure.
(1) Note. Merely abiding by a specified parameter, e.g., operating at a prescribed temperature range in performing the process, is not considered measuring or testing.
(2) Note. Included in the subclass are those processes wherein a step is controlled in response to the result of a test or measurement.
