Utilizing fused bath (e.g., eliminating anode effect in a fused bath, etc.):

(under subclass 335) Subject matter wherein a nonaqueous electrolyte bath which is a solid substance or combination or mixture of substances which is heated above ordinary normal room temperature during synthesis in order to bring it to a fluid or liquid condition is utilized.

(1) Note. These processes are usually performed at high temperatures.

(2) Note. Anode effect is the condition where a high net voltage drop occurs between the electrodes of the

electrolytic cell and, consequently, cell efficiency decreases.
