DEFINITION

Classification: 204/569

Dielectric liquid:

(under subclass 567) Process in which the modifying agent is a nonconducting or insulating liquid (e.g., hydrocarbon oil, etc.).

(1) Note. The terms "dielectric," "nonconducting," "insulating," or their equivalents used in connection with an added modifying agent are sufficient for placement in this subclass. If the dielectric functionality of such an added modifying agent is in doubt, placement is proper for the broad subclass, 567.
