(under subclass 804) Apparatus wherein the load-supporting reach of the belt has a concave cross-sectional shape so that the side portions of said carrier belt rise above its central section.

Included herein inter alia is a carrier belt which sags between supports connected to its edges, or is connected to and shaped by transverse frames spaced apart longitudinally thereof, or is flexed into a trough when a separate element mounted thereon engages a cam surface extending along its travel path.
