(under subclass 618) Apparatus in which the load-supporting and moving, or carrier, means of the conveyor is a belt movable continuously along the path defined by its longitudinal axis, at least part of said path being that over which a load is to be moved, and the belt having an endless surface or including longitudinally spaced elements which cooperate to form, in effect, an endless surface for supporting the load.
