DEFINITION

(under subclass 153) Devices which are so constructed that fluid may flow downwardly past the piston at a certain period of its operation by a flexing of the piston sealing means or opening of a valve or closure.

(1) Note. Plugs which are constructed to be drilled out in their entirety are not classified in this subclass but will be found in subclass 153 or other indented subclasses.
