DEFINITION

Classification: 164/58.1

To produce casting having nonhomogeneous composition:

(under subclass 57.1) Process wherein the addition of the metal-containing material to the metallic-casting material produces a casting having a nonuniform composition.

(1) Note. To be placed herein, the patent must disclose that a nonhomogeneous casting is produced. A casting having a varying alloy composition across a given cross section comes within the scope of this subclass.
