Having air locks:
(under subclass 312) Device wherein means are provided to isolate one zone from another zone which means comprises a chamber interposed between the zones which chamber has a first sealable opening communicating the chamber with the one zone and a second sealable opening communicating said chamber with the other zone.
(1) Note. The air locks found here provide communication between a vessel and the surrounding sea, between different vessels, or between different compartments in the same vessel.
