Having flow guide preventing entire filter face contact by gas flow:

(under subclass 337) Apparatus having a gas flow directing or blocking means adjacent a portion of the upstream face of the filter to thereby restrict or limit the area of the filter face exposed to the flow of the gaseous fluid mixture or the separated gaseous constituent.

(1) Note. The usual purpose of this feature is to provide a liquid return path through the filter out of contact with the gas passing therethrough.
