DEFINITION

Classification: 95/107

Moving sorbent:

(under subclass 90) Process in which the solid sorbent is moved from one zone to another by moving a housing, is moved from one zone to another in a stationary housing, or is blown about or fluidized by a gas in a housing.

(1) Note. The zones need not all be for sorbing the gas or for desorbing the solid sorbent; it is sufficient that the solid sorbent be moved from one zone to another, in each of which zones the solid sorbent either is treated or is used to treat.
