(under subclass 218) Apparatus in which plural working members acting in the same direction are provided with a separately controlled supply of motive fluid, said working members being (1) relatively movable or (2) connected to move together as a unit under all conditions of operation and which have different faces forming moving walls of different working chambers which are not in fluid communication during at least some part of a cycle of operation of the apparatus.
(1) Note. Motors in which one working chamber is constantly supplied and the second working chamber receives a controlled intermittent supply from the first working chamber are included under this definition.
