DEFINITION

(under subclass 92) Device including means to vary the progressive broadside movement of the product, which means is operatively linked to the mechanism which adjusts the extent that a work-feeding device moves between each cutting cycle.

(1) Note. Included in this subclass are devices having means to vary the thickness of product pieces being cut, which means effects the adjustment of the movement of the product holder to compensate for such variance in thickness.
