DEFINITION

Classification: 83/707

(under subclass 703) Device wherein the infeed means moves the work back and forth in a straight line path past a cutting zone, said back and forth movement constituting a cycle of work movement, wherein one complete cut is produced during each such cycle, and including a cutting tool at said zone having a cutting plane which is parallel to the direction of said work movement.
