DEFINITION

(under subclass 601) Apparatus wherein the member which actuates the tool or tool holder oscillates or rotates about a center and carries a surface of fixed points of varying distance from the center, which surface imparts motion to a follower in contact therewith which motion varies in accordance with the varying distances of the fixed points on the surface from the center of the member.
