(under subclass 594) Apparatus in which the moving tool and its cooperating tool are so related to each other, or in which the moving tool working through a recess in a work holder is so shaped or configurated, that the work is cut with a continuing or slicing action, rather than substantially simultaneously, as the locus of cutting contact with the work shifts along the tool edge(s).
