DEFINITION

Classification: 83/56

(under subclass 13) Process which includes a step of making a continuous cut which extends through the work thickness wise

and which proceeds in a direction toward or from one edge of the work, which may be a leading or trailing edge.

(1) Note. Included are processes of "drawcutting" and "slitting".
